Live blog warm-up?

The hockey season is right around the corner (yesterday I was pondering the oddity that it was 90 degrees outside and hockey was beginning in little more than a week). The Silvertips players report for training camp next Wednesday and take the ice for the first time on Thursday. Remember, because of scheduling conflicts training camp takes place at Lynnwood Ice Center this year rather than at Comcast Arena.

The location change might have some effect on my coverage this year, as I don’t believe Lynnwood Ice Center has easy internet access available. Hopefully I’ll be able to procure the right technology so I can live blog during camp anyway, but even if I don’t expect to have as convenient a view of the action.

Speaking of live blogging, I thought it might be a good idea to host a live blog prior to the start of training camp. That would give the readers a forum not only for asking me questions about the upcoming season, but also to get those hockey juices flowing.

So what I’m looking for is feedback on whether anyone’s interested in that, and if so when would be the best time. I’m thinking of hosting an hour next week, probably on Tuesday, and I can do it either in the afternoon or evening. So are you interested, and what works for you?
