Two district playoff berths remain in the Wesco North 4A boys basketball league. Tonight I will see two teams who have the inside track on clinching those coveted postseason slots.
I’m going to be at Stanwood High School to watch the Lake Stevens Vikings (7-4 Wesco 4A, 9-7 overall) play the Stanwood Spartans (6-5, 7-9). Currently, Lake Stevens is in third place in the six-team North and Stanwood is in fourth.
The six-team North sends four teams to next month’s District 1 tournament, and Arlington (9-2, 12-4) and Monroe (9-2, 12-4) have already clinched berths.Marysville-Pilchuck (3-8, 4-12) and Snohomish (3-8, 5-11) are tied for fifth.
The Lake Stevens vs. Monroe battle is set to tip off at 7:30 p.m. Click here to follow my live updates throughout the game.
Tonight’s other North 4A boys hoops games:
Snohomish at Monroe, 7:30 p.m.
Marysville-Pilchuck at Arlington, 7:30 p.m.
