Three local football players and two coaches will participate in the Earl Barden Classic All-State football game, to be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Eisenhower High School.
Lakewood quarterback Austin Lane and tight end/defensive end Jonathan Cox, both heading to Central Washington University in the fall, and King’s wide receiver/defensive back Brennon Blevins will represent the West team.
Lakewood coach Dan Teeter will lead the West squad. Jackson coach Joel Vincent and Lakewood assistant Jay Carlson will join Teeter as assistants.
The game features athletes from schools in Class 2A and smaller.

Four girls hoopsters from Snohomish County are set to play at the 22nd annual Washington/North Idaho All-State Girl’s Basketball Classic, to be held at 5:30 p.m. Saturday at the Hub Sports Center in Liberty Lake.
Archbishop Murphy’s Maddie Hill, Emily Rodabaugh and Megan Dorney will team up with Edmonds-Woodway’s Adrienne Poling on the 2A/3A West team, led by Archbishop Murphy coach Cassie Snyder.
