M-P run finishes Cascade comeback

MARYSVILLE — A seven-point Marysville-Pilchuck lead had dwindled down to three heading into the fourth quarter of Friday’s Wesco North girls basketball game and the Cascade Bruins made a run, tying the Tomahawks with four minutes remaining.

But M-P ended the game on an 8-0 run to gain a key 48-40 Wesco North victory.

Britt Harris led all scorers with 18 points for the Tomahawks and also had 13 rebounds. Jessica Masters proved to be an effective passer, notching six assists.
