EVERETT — Spencer Packard hit his fourth home run of the early season, but Adam Macko labored through 4.2 difficult innings and the Everett AquaSox fell to the Spokane Indians 9-3 on Wednesday night at Funko Field.
Coming off three quality outings to open the season, Macko allowed six runs, all earned, on nine hits while striking out a five and walking four.
Packard finished 2-for-4 with three RBI, and Noelvi Marte and Alberto Rodriguez each added a double for Everett (5-11).
Eddy Diaz and Grant Lavigne each had three hits and two RBI for Spokane (9-8).
