ORLANDO, Fla. — The Orlando Magic have traded shooting guard Keith Bogans to the Milwaukee Bucks for point guard Tyronn Lue and cash considerations.

General Manager Otis Smith announced the trade Thursday, three days after the Southeast Division-leading Magic lost All-Star point guard Jameer Nelson to injury.

Lue has played in 30 games this season for Milwaukee, averaging 4.7 points and 1.5 assists per game. He played in 76 games for the Magic in the 2003-04 season, and will be asked to help fill the point guard shortage.

Nelson tore the labrum in his right shoulder in Orlando’s 105-95 loss to the Mavericks on Monday night. He is deciding over the next few weeks whether he will undergo season-ending surgery or hold off and attempt rehabilitation.
