SEATTLE – The Seattle Mariners reached agreement today on a four-year contract with right-fielder Ichiro Suzuki.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed by the team.
Suzuki, 30, has had more than 200 hits in each of his first three major-league seasons. He has a career .328 average with 121 stolen bases.
Last season Suzuki hit .312, went to the All Star game for a third time and collected his third straight Gold Glove.
