They said it

Right-hander Chris Reitsma, who pitched in a game Saturday for the first time since he had elbow surgery last July.

They did it

n Right-hander Miguel Batista threw without pain in the bullpen Saturday morning and will make his scheduled start today against the Brewers. In his last outing, Batista experienced pain in his left side but continued to pitch, and he’d been receiving treatment for it since.
