VANCOUVER – The Marysville Senior Little League (11-12-year olds) team finished fourth in the Western Regional Major Girls Softball Tournament after losing 5-3 to Southern California in the consolation game Sunday.
“When (Southern California) got runners in scoring position, they got hits and we didn’t do that,” Marysville coach Marty Martinez said.
Meagan Bombach was 3-for-3 with a double for Marysville. Riley Fritz took the loss, pitching six innings while striking out two and walking three.
