Meadowdale forces tiebreaker for 3A district playoff spot

LYNNWOOD – Meadowdale extended its season by at least a day by beating Lynnwood 6-1 Thursday in its final regular season Western Conference South Division game.

The two Class 3A teams finished in a tie in the division standings, forcing a tiebreaker at 3:30 p.m. today at Meadowdale to see who advances to the Northwest District playoffs.

The Mavericks capitalized on seven Lynnwood errors.

Colleen Shanks had a double for Meadowdale.
