Meadowdale hits key 3-pointers vs. Terrace

LYNNWOOD – Meadowdale, which had four players in double figures, used some key 3-pointers to beat Mountlake Terrace 58-49 Friday in a Wesco South boys basketball game at the Meadowdale gym.

Senior guards Mike Simonson and Bryant Marsh led the stampede in the second quarter, knocking down three 3-pointers. Marsh had two and Simonson hit one and scored seven of his 13 points.

“We got after them in the second quarter,” Mavericks assistant coach Dean Wiley said.

Simonson finished with 13, Marsh, John Rouse and Robel Kidanu each finish with 10 points.

“We usually to do that (spread the scoring around),” Wiley said. “We have a lot of guys that can play.”

Trevor Gill had 22 points for the Hawks.
