Meadowdale High School recently named Tim Rettmann as the new girls tennis coach after longtime boys and girls tennis coach Mark Schneider resigned due to a move out of the area.
Rettmann previously coached at Pasco and North Central high schools on the eastern side of the state and played tennis for Eastern Washington University from 1986-91.
“We will miss Mark; he has done a remarkable job with the girls program and has left a solid foundation for Tim,” said Meadowdale athletic director Chris Murphy in a press release. “That said, I believe Tim has the tools to continue on a great tradition here at Meadowdale, and I look forward to working with him.”
The spring season begins on Monday, Feb. 27.
