Meadowdale’s Tanner Davenport is taking his game to the next level.
The Mavericks offensive lineman recently signed a National Letter of Intent to play football for Simon Fraser University in Vancouver, British Columbia.
“(I’m) relieved that this whole process is over,” Davenport wrote in a Twitter message to The Herald. “And I’m excited for this opportunity to play at the next level at a great school. Now it’s time to get back in the weight room and put in some hard work.”
Davenport was an All-Wesco, first-team selection on the 3A offensive team.
SFU plays in the Great Northwest Athletic Conference, which includes teams like Central Washington and Western Oregon.
