SEATTLE — Ricky Holm and Bobby LeCount combined to hold the Northwest Honkers to just two hits in the second game of a Pacific International League doubleheader sweep by the Everett Merchants Wednesday.
Holm faced the minimum through six innings, striking out nine and earning the win as the Merchants (15-2 overall, 12-1 PIL) grabbed a 6-0 win in the second game. LeCount struck out five in three innings of work. Everett powered its way to a 10-1 win in the opening game behind three RBI from Ian McKay and two from Andrew Lauletta.
