Minnesota’s Rebekkah Brunson and Indiana’s Katie Douglas were named the Western and Eastern conference players of the week on Monday, respectively.
Brunson averaged 14.8 points per game and 14 rebounds per game in the first week of the season, leading the Lynx to a 3-1 record, including an 81-74 win over the defending WNBA champion Seattle Storm.
Douglas led Indiana to a 2-1 record, scoring 21 ppg and knocking down a league-high 10 three-pointers.
