A day after being named to the second team of the Rivals.com freshman All-American team, Jake Locker was named the Sporting News’ Offensive Freshman of the Year in the Pac-10 and selected as the quarterback on the All-Freshman Team.

Speaking of honors for Huskies, here’s Rival.com’s All Pac-10 team. Louis Rankin was named the first-team all-purpose player for his work as a tailback and kick returner. Defensive tackle Jordan Reffett was named to the second team.
