Mosiman leads King’s to win

SHORELINE – King’s moved from Class 1A to 2A before this season. On Tuesday, the King’s girls basketball team showed that Class 3A isn’t out of it’s reach.

Sara Mosiman helped put the pressure on Class 3A Mt. Rainier with five steals in the Knights’ 67-41 victory. She gained nine of her 23 points in the third quarter securing the Knights’ lead.

Hayley Zevenbergen grabbed eight rebounds along with her 13 points in the non-conference game.

The Knight will take another test against 3A competition when they take on Kennedy today.

Sultan 60, Eatonville 55: Eatonville out-powered Sultan in the first half of the non-conference game taking a seven point lead to the break. Sultan came back to hold Eatonville to only 5 points in the third quarter. Shawn Wolter had 11 rebounds and 22 points for the Turks.

Cascade 3, King’s West 0: Cascade’s Tiffany Trieschmann bowled 257, 215, and 236 games for an all-time high series of 708. Markeeta Munger bowled a 225 game for a 552 series. Autumn Perrotta bowled a 192 for a 472 series for King’s West.
