Mountlake Terrace holds off Everett

EVERETT – The Mountlake Terrace Hawks led from the opening whistle to defeat the Everett Seagulls 63-50 in a non-conference boys basketball game on Friday night.

“They took the lead by six points after the first quarter and never let up after that,” Everett coach Darrell Olson said.

The Hawks had four players in double digits. Mike Hedgecock and Cameron Rowland each had 15 points, Roger Russaw had 14 and Ryan Webb had 11.

“They played very unselfish,” Olson said.

The Hawks were 19-for-25 from the foul line with Hedgecock hitting eight of 10.

Reggie Limar had 23 points and 11 rebounds and Josh Daniels had 11 points to keep the Seagulls close.
