WASHINGTON — Left-hander Odalis Perez and the Washington Nationals agreed to a non-guaranteed minor league contract Thursday.
Perez went 7-12 with a 4.34 ERA for Washington in 2008, throwing 159 2-3 innings over 30 starts.
He joined the Nationals last year during spring training on a minor league deal and wound up as the team’s starter on opening day.
The 31-year-old Perez is 73-82 with a 4.46 ERA in 10 major league seasons with four clubs.
