BOSTON — Paul Pierce scored 26 points on nearly perfect shooting and Boston roared back from a rough road trip to beat Washington. The Celtics went 1-3 on their West Coast swing after the best 29-game start in NBA history, 27-2. With the victory, they improved to 18-1 at home.

Nets 93, Hawks 91 (OT)

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. — Vince Carter hit a long 3-pointer at the buzzer in overtime and New Jersey overcame a 20-point halftime deficit to end Atlanta’s winning streak at six games. Devin Harris added 26 points and 11 assists, and Carter finished with 18 points.

Pacers 105, Knicks 103

NEW YORK — Jarrett Jack made a jumper with 0.9 seconds remain and scored a season-high 29 points, and Indiana snap a four-game losing streak. New York’s Al Harrington scored 22 of his 27 points in the second half against his former team.

Magic 86, Heat 76

ORLANDO, Fla. — Rashard Lewis scored 17 points, Jameer Nelson added 16, and Dwight Howard had 15 points and 15 rebounds in Orlando’s 10th straight win over Miami. Dwyane Wade scored 33 points for the Heat, but was shut out in the fourth quarter.

Raptors 94, Rockets 73

TORONTO — Chris Bosh and Andrea Bargnani each scored 19 points to help Toronto snap a three-game losing streak. Toronto, which had lost 13 of its last 17 games and four straight at home, held Houston to a season low in points.

Mavericks 96, 76ers 86

DALLAS — Dirk Nowitzki had a big fourth quarter and scored 31 points, Jason Terry added 21 and Dallas rallied from another deficit for a victory over Philadelphia. Erick Dampier contributed 10 points and 14 rebounds for the Mavericks, who’ve won six of seven and were playing their first game since rallying from a 29-point second-half deficit to beat the Minnesota Timberwolves on Dec. 30, the greatest comeback in franchise history.

Bucks 103, Bobcats 75

MILWAUKEE — Michael Redd scored 31 points, and Charlie Villanueva had 27 in Milwaukee’s victory over Charlotte. Richard Jefferson added 18 points in the Bucks’ fifth straight victory over the Bobcats. Boris Diaw led Charlotte with 16 points, and Emeka Okafor had 11 points and 12 rebounds.

Pistons 98, Kings 92

AUBURN HILLS, Mich. — Rodney Stuckey scored 13 of his 38 points in the fourth quarter, and Detroit won its sixth straight game with a victory over Sacramento. Allen Iverson and Tayshaun Prince added 23 points each for the Pistons, while Amir Johnson had 10 points and 14 rebounds.

Nuggets 122, Thunder 120

OKLAHOMA CITY — Carmelo Anthony’s 3-pointer from the corner with 0.1 seconds left capped a 31-point outing and lifted Denver past Oklahoma City. Anthony’s winner came after Oklahoma City’s Kevin Durant hit a 3-pointer with 2.7 seconds left to put the Thunder (4-30) ahead. Oklahoma City was seeking consecutive wins for the first time this season.

Spurs 91, Grizzlies 80

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Tim Duncan had 20 points and 10 rebounds, and Tony Parker added 19 points in San Antonio’s victory over Memphis. Duncan was 8-of-11 from the field and added five assists and three blocks. Parker also had five assists.

Timberwolves 115, Warriors 108

MINNEAPOLIS — Three days after surrendering a 29-point lead in the final 22 minutes of a loss to Dallas, Al Jefferson had 32 points and 10 rebounds to lead Minnesota to a victory over Golden State. Ryan Gomes scored 13 of his 21 points in the third quarter and also had 10 rebounds. Kevin Love added 19 points and eight rebounds for the Wolves.

Cavaliers 117, Bulls 92

CLEVELAND — Anderson Varejao scored a career-high 26 points, LeBron James had a triple-double and Cleveland stayed unbeaten on its floor with a win over Chicago after learning center Zydrunas Ilgauskas will miss a month with a fractured bone in his left ankle. James finished with 16 points, 11 assists and 10 rebounds as the Cavaliers improved to 17-0 at Quicken Loans Arena.

Suns 106, Clippers 98

PHOENIX — Amare Stoudemire scored 23 points and Phoenix extended its winning streak to three and dealt Los Angeles its sixth consecutive loss. The victory pulled the Suns (19-12) seven games over .500 for the first time this season. They’re 9-3 in their past 12 games, with the three losses by a total of just 11 points, and have scored 100 or more points in 10 of their past 11 games.

Hornets 92, Trail Blazers 77

PORTLAND, Ore. — David West had 25 points, Chris Paul added 17 points, 11 assists and seven rebounds and Hornets beat Portland for its fourth straight victory. West and Paul teamed to lead a New Orleans rally, with the Hornets outscoring Portland 41-19 in the final 15 minutes. James Posey had 15 points and nine rebounds for the Hornets.

Lakers 113, Jazz 100

LOS ANGELES — Kobe Bryant scored 40 points and Los Angeles beat Utah, winning its fifth in a row and improving to 17-1 at home. Pau Gasol scored 21 points, giving him 10,001 for his career, and had 11 rebounds for the Lakers, who were coming off a four-day break.
