New Washington Baseball Poll rankings: Marysville-Pilchuck (18-3) climbs to No. 3 in 4A

Little by little, the Marysville-Pilchuck baseball team keeps working its way up.

After being ranking fourth last week by Washington Baseball Poll, this week the 18-3 Tomahawks are No. 3. The only teams ahead of M-P are Richland (18-2) and Redmond (17-3).

Other local ranked teams are Archbishop Murphy (fifth in 2A) and Lynnwood (10th in 3A).

Before we get to the complete 4A, 3A, 2A and 1A rankings released Sunday, here is today’s district tournament baseball schedule.

4A District 1 semifinals at Everett Memorial Stadium: Monroe at Marysville-Pilchuck, 4 p.m.; Snohomish at Kamiak, 7 p.m.

3A District 1 tournament at Shorecrest High: Shorecrest at Lynnwood, 4 p.m.; Glacier Peak at Meadowdale, 6:30 p.m.

3A District 1 tournament at Sherman Anderson Field, Mount Vernon: Everett at Mount Vernon, 4 p.m.; Sedro-Woolley at Ferndale, 6:30 p.m.

2A District 1 tournament in Anacortes: Bellingham at Anacortes, 2 p.m. (Daniels Field); Lakewood at Archbishop Murphy, 5 p.m. (Daniels Field); Granite Falls at Cedarcrest, 3 p.m. (Volunteer Park); Burlington-Edison at Sehome, 6 p.m. (Volunteer Park).
