In case you missed it, Silvertips defenseman Nick Walters recently talked about his experience at the NHL draft combine. We’re now less than two weeks away from the draft. Walters and fellow defenseman Ryan Murray are the Tips on the draft radar. Also expected to be drafted are winger Jujhar Khaira and defenseman Reece Willcox, whose rights were acquired by Everett in May. So after an empty draft for Everett last year — the first time since 2005 no Tips were selected — there should be plenty to watch for this year.
