SEATTLE — The University of Washington men’s basketball team is back in The Associated Press basketball poll for the first time in two years.
After beating UCLA on Saturday, the Huskies are ranked No. 23 in this week’s rankings. They were last ranked in January of 2007. Washington plays at Arizona on Thursday.
The Gonzaga basketball team is ranked 20th this week. The Bulldogs play No. 22 Saint Mary’s on Thursday in Spokane.
Duke took over as the No. 1-ranked team, replacing Pittsburgh.
Here is the complete poll, with first-place votes in parentheses and total points based on 25 points for a first-place vote through one point for a 25th-place vote and previous ranking:
