Northwest Basketball Coaches Clinic Sept. 24-25 at Lake Stevens HS

After coordinating a successful debut last year, Randall Edens has organized the 2nd Annual Northwest Basketball Coaches Clinic.

The two-day event will feature many of the top college and high school coaches in the region. It will take place Sept. 24-25 at Lake Stevens High School.

“Our hope is to get you excited about the upcoming season ahead and take advantage of the opportunity to hear from some of our successful collegiate and high school programs in the Northwest,” Edens, Lake Stevens High’s girls basketball coach, said in a prepared statement promoting the clinic.

Women’s basketball coaches scheduled to appear are (bio info provided by Edens):

*Kelly Graves—Gonzaga University Head Coach: 2011 NCAA Tournament—Elite Eight, 2011 WCC Champions

*Sherri Murrell—Portland State University Head Coach: 2011 Big Sky Conference Champions, 2010 NCAA Tournament

*Kevin McGuff—University of Washington Head Coach: 2011 NCAA Tournament, 2011 A-10 Champions–(Xavier)

*Carmen Dolfo—Western Washington University Head Coach: 2011 GNAC Champions, 2011 WBCA West Region Coach of the Year

*Seton Sobolewski—Idaho State University Head Coach: 33 Wins the Past 2 Seasons at Idaho State

*Dan Muscatell—University of Oregon Assistant Coach: Former Sacramento State University Head Coach-Big Sky Conference
