No earth-shattering news from today’s press conference with Jim Mora. He left a lot of questions unanswered saying either that they’re still evaluating things, or that it can’t be answered without a GM in place.
Mora was asked if he thought his coaching staff would be retained, and he said, “Right now everything is under evaluation.” And asked if Tod Leiweke has told him he will be back next year, Mora said that conversation hasn’t happened, but that he’s moving forward as if he will be the coach.
As for left tackle Walter Jones, Mora said a decision will probably have to be made on his future sometime in February or March.
Mora said S Deon Gran (wrist), WR Mike Hass (shoulder) and DE Patrick Kerney (elbow) will have offseason surgeries.
