Into the fourth quarter we go, and obviously the game is getting out of reach for the Huskies. Washington just has no answer for the Oregon running game, and can’t generate any offense. Both of the UW’s points have come thanks to turnovers setting up good field position. I think the game is being lost up front – as many of the UW’s games have been – as both lines are being pushed around. That’s not a surprise on defense, as Oregon’s offensive line is really good, but the fact that the Washington offensive line hasn’t done more is both frustrating and not surprising. It also looks like Clay Walker has a knee injury as he was carted off the field and Casey Bulyca replaced him at right guard. That’s only the second time a non-starter has been in the game.
The fourth is about to start and the only real question is how ugly this might get.
