CORVALLIS, Ore. — Oregon State is lowering ticket prices for certain seats at Reser Stadium to bring in more football fans.
It is the first time the Beavers have dropped ticket prices since 2000.
Some seats in the Valley View section are now $149, down from $252 and the required $100 Beaver Athletic Student Fund donation.
Oregon State athletic director Bob De Carolis says the school will also reduce BASF donations on other seats. Further pricing details are still in the works.
De Carolis says the goal is to create more options for fans to become season ticket holders, and to help the Beavers double their donor base by 2012.
