SEATTLE — Washington had to work overtime Friday night, but the extra effort paid off as the Huskies defeated Utah 53-52 in a Pac-12 women’s basketball game.
The Huskies (9-7, 2-3 Pac-12) snapped a three-game conference losing streak.
Junior guard Jazmine Davis scored the first basket in overtime to give the Huskies a 49-47 lead and Washington led the rest of the way.
Utah (7-9, 0-5) closed the difference to one point on a 3-point field goal by Cheyenne Wilson with 1:19 remaining, but that was the last time either team scored.
Davis and freshman guard Kelsey Plum each scored 14 points to lead Washington. UW’s Aminah Williams pulled down a game-high 15 rebounds.
Michelle Plouffe led Utah with 20 points and 14 rebounds. Emily Potter added 10 points and 14 boards.
Potter’s jumper with six second remaining in regulation sent the game into overtime tied 47-47.
WSU 70, Colorado 60
PULLMAN — Tia Presley and Lia Galdeira each had 17 points as Washington State beat No. 21 Colorado.
WSU (11-6, 5-0) improved to 3-1 against ranked opponents this season and continues its best start in conference play since opening 5-0 as a member of the Northwest Women’s Basketball League in 1977-78.
Jen Reese led the Buffaloes (11-5, 1-4) with 15 points and Arielle Roberson chipped in 13.
Stanford 96, Arizona 52
TUCSON, Ariz. — Chiney Ogwumike had 24 points and 12 rebounds, Karlie Samuelson added 16 points and No. 4 Stanford rolled over Arizona.
Stanford (16-1, 5-0) allowed Arizona to keep it close early in the first half before using a big run to build a 21-point lead. The Cardinal cruised from there, shooting 63 percent from the floor and hitting 15 of 32 from 3-point range for their 59th straight Pac-12 road win.
Kama Griffits led Arizona (4-12, 0-5) with 12 points.
Arizona State 68, Cal 59
TEMPE, Ariz. — Quinn Dornstauder scored 13 points to lead a balanced Arizona State offense as the 19th-ranked Sun Devils beat No. 15 California. Promise Amukamara added 11 points and Deja Mann had 10 for the Sun Devils (15-2, 4-1).
Reshanda Gray had 17 points and 10 rebounds and Jemerigbe added 16 points for Cal (12-4, 4-1).
USC 81, Oregon State 60
LOS ANGELES — Cassie Harberts scored 22 points as Southern Cal defeated Oregon State.
Harberts was 11-of-21 from the field as USC improved to 12-6, 5-1 in Pac-12 play.
Deven Hunter and Sydney Wiese each scored 11 points to lead Oregon State (10-7, 2-3).
UCLA 88, Oregon 83
LOS ANGELES — Atonye Nyingifa scored 34 points to lead UCLA (9-9, 3-3) past Oregon.
Cascade High School graduate Danielle Love had eight points and four rebounds for Oregon (9-7, 0-5)
