EVERETT — Tyler Palmer delivered a shutout in front of the net with 35 saves and Beau Courtney scored in the first period to lead the Everett Silvertips past the Seattle Thunderbirds on Saturday at Angel of the Winds Arena.
Courtney scored at the 18:04 mark of the first period and the Silvertips led the rest of the way. Aiden Sutter and Ben Hemmerling assisted on the goal.
Scott Ratzlaff had 24 saves for the Thunderbirds.
