DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – NASCAR announced Tuesday that it has revised the penalty for Bryan Berry, crew chief of the No. 62 Chevrolet in the NASCAR Nationwide Series. Berry had been indefinitely suspended earlier this month for a rule violation (Section 12-1: actions detrimental to stock car racing; involved in an altercation with another team) he committed at the event held at Nashville Superspeedway on June 6.
Berry’s suspension will be lifted effective July 7, while his NASCAR probation will continue until Dec. 31. Berry must also perform community service as directed by NASCAR.
