EVERETT — Robert Perez Jr. hit a walk-off three-run home run as the Everett AquaSox opened their final series of the season with a thrilling 5-4 win over the Hillsboro Hops on Tuesday night.
Hillsboro scored twice to take a 4-2 lead in the top of the ninth then got two quick out to open the bottom of the inning.
Spencer Packard and Alberto Rodriguez each drew two-out walk for Everett to bring the go-ahead run to the plate.
Perez hit a o-1 pitch over the center field wall to give the AquaSox the walk-off win.
Perez finished 2-for-3 with three RBI for an Everett (58-68) offense that managed only four total hits.
Sheng-Ping Chen went 2-for-4 with two RBI for Hillsboro (56-69).
