Kosta Pitharoulis has been named the girls soccer coach at Kamiak High School.
Pitharoulis had served as the Everett girls soccer coach since 2001, leading the Seagulls to the 3A state title in 2008. He currently is the Kamiak boys soccer coach.
Pitharoulis replaces Beth Stewart, who guided the Knights to a 12-5-1 record in 2017.
“Kosta’s coaching philosophy aligns closely with our Kamiak athletic mission statement, and we are excited about the next chapter of Kamiak girls soccer under his leadership,” Kamiak athletic director Sean Monica said.
