The Seahawks will host either Philadelphia or Dallas when the playoffs begin Jan. 6-7.
The Eagles victory over the Cowboys on Monday keeps both in the running for the NFC East title. The NFC East champ will host a game as the No. 3 seed, while the second-place team travels to Seattle. The Seahawks (8-7) cannot move up to the third seed even if they finish the season in a three-way tie with the Eagles and Cowboys (both now 9-6) because Philadelphia owns the tiebreaker.
