Now is the time when Everett needs to make its move. The Tips are one game into a seven-game homestand, Everett’s final home games of the season. Three of those game are against teams the Tips are battling with in the playoff race, so those are must wins. Especially since the other three are against the three teams battling for the conference’s top seed. But then, the Tips did just knock off Portland …

Oh, two other things. First, Tips overage defenseman Brennan Yadlowski returns for this stretch of games. Yadlowski just completed his 10-game suspension and will be returning to the lineup Wednesday against Kamloops, bolstering Everett’s defense. Second, a reminder that Friday’s crucial game against Seattle will be televised by ROOT Sports, so if you’re planning on attending prepare yourselves for the cameras.
