So the Huskies have managed to play five games in Seattle and seven overall without getting rained on this year, and now that they’re in Southern California, it’s raining. Go figure. The rain has been light and may let up entirely before kickoff, so weather shouldn’t be a big factor on the game.
The Huskies will be a little depleated in their secondary, as Victor Aiyewa (groin) and Meshphin Forrester (knee) did not make the trip. Tripper Johnson will start at safety in place of Aiyewa, and Matt Mosley will likely start for Forrester at cornerback. Forrester’s injury apparently happened at Wednesday’s practice, as he did not practice Thursday, but so far we have no other news on him.
