Mariner | Boys Basketball
Villalobos scored 18 points in a win over Shorewood on Saturday, 23 in a win over Lake Stevens on Friday and 21 in a loss to Marysville Getchell on Tuesday. Villalobos has the Marauders off to an impressive 4-1 start this season.
Savanna Hanson
King’s | Girls Basketball
Hanson scored 19 points, grabbed 19 rebounds and also added six blocks, six assists and three steals in a win over Cedarcrest and had 15 points and 11 rebounds in loss to Post Falls from Idaho. The Knights are 1-1 this season.
Mason McKenzie
Darrington | Wrestling
McKenzie pinned Concrete’s Braden Olmstead in 4:25 to win the 220-pound weight class at the Iron Sharpens Iron tournament on Saturday at Bellevue Christian High School. McKenzie also helped the Loggers win the team championship.
Chase Reid
Lake Stevens| Boys Swimming
Reid won the 50 freestyle and 1-meter diving and also helped the Vikings to wins in the 200-medley relay and 400-freestyle relay in victories over Mountlake Terrace and Edmonds-Woodway on Tuesday. He also won the diving and the 100 freestyle in victories over Marysville Getchell and Marysville Pilchuck on Thursday.
Jo Jo Durr
Everett | Girls Bowling
Durr bowled a 234 game and a 590 series to help the Seagulls sweep Jackson 3-0 on Tuesday.
