Magaoay, a senior, scored 45 points in a 76-69 win over Kamiak in the 4A District 1 Championship game on Thursday. He shot 16-for-20 from the field, 4-for-6 from 3-point range and 9-for-10 from the free-throw line.

Peterson, a junior, scored 16 points in a win over Ferndale, 27 points in a win over Glacier Peak and 24 points in a win over Shorewood last week. With the three wins, the Warriors advanced to the 3A state regionals despite being the lowest seeded team in the tournament.
Michael Soler

Soler, a senior, won his fourth consecutive state wrestling championship on Saturday with a 14-6 win over Moses Lake’s Hudson Mauseth in the 4A final at 170 pounds at this year’s Mat Classic. Soler’s previous victories came at 106, 113 and 132 pounds respectively. Soler also helped the Vikings win the team championship for the third time in four seasons.

Jackson | Boys Swmiming
Cook, a sophomore, won the 4A state championship 200-yard individual medley and the 100 breastroke this past Saturday at the state swimming and diving championships. His times were All-America automatic in both events and he was named the Swimmer of the Meet.
