Poling, a junior, scored 21 points Wednesday in the Warriors’ 70-23 win over Mountlake Terrace, then tallied 18 points Friday to help Edmonds-Woodway to a 45-34 win over Meadowdale.
Boys wrestling
Baily Alvis, Marysville Pilchuck
Alvis, a senior 138-pounder, picked up the match-winning victory in the Tomahawks’ 34-33 win over Everett on Tuesday, getting a crucial 17-9 major decision over the Seagulls’ Dayne Tuohimaa in the last bout of the evening. Alvis then defeated Brantly Stupey 7-6 Thursday in Marysville Pilchuck’s 59-11 win over Arlington that clinched the Wesco 3A North title for MP.
Boys swimming and diving
Sean Sibley, Cascade
Sibley won the 50-yard freestyle and 100 butterfly events and was part of the Bruins’ winning 200 freestyle and 400 freestyle relay squads Tuesday in Cascade’s 106-68 win over Meadowdale and 127-38 victory over Lynnwood.
