Harrison Jacobs

Shorewood | Baseball

Jacobs, a senior, batted 3-for-4 with a home run, two runs scored and three RBI to lead Shorewood to a 9-2 win over Glacier Peak on Friday in the Thunderbirds first game of the season.

Sophie Frost

Jackson | Softball

Frost, a senior, went 3-0 with 22 strikeouts and no runs allowed last week. She pitched a three-hit shutout with 15 Ks against Woodinville, three relief innings against Inglemoor and two perfect inning against Edmonds-Woodway. At the plate, she was 7-for-11 for the week including a 4-for-4 performance against the Warriors.

Jason Fairhurst

Snohomish | Boys Soccer

Fairhurst, a junior, scored two goals in the second half of a 3-2 comeback win over crosstown rival Glacier Peak on Thursday. It was the first victory of the season for the defending 4A state champs.

Shaelyn Huot

Lake Stevens | Girls Tennis

Huot, a senior and the No. 1 singles player for the Vikings, won both of her matches last week, losing just four games in the process. Lake Stevens is off to a 2-0 start to the season.

Nathan Beamer

Arlington | Boys Track

Beamer, a senior, won the 1,600 meters at the Chuck Randall relays Saturday with a time of 4:24.98, which was over 10 seconds better than his nearest competition.

Jayla Russ

Arlington | Girls Track

Russ, a senior, won the shot put and finished second in the discus and javelin at the Chuck Randall relays on Saturday.

Jericho Timbol

Jackson Lacrosse Club | Boys Lacrosse

Timbol finished with five goals and two assists in a 21-3 win over Meadowdale on Friday.

JackRyan O’Neil

King’s | Boys Golf

O’Neil shot a one-under par 32 in a nine-hole victory over Sultan on Thursday.

Renee Kwak

Kamiak | Girls Golf

Kwak shot a two-over part 38 in a victory over Lake Stevens on Thursday.
