EVERETT — Archbishop Murphy pitcher Connor Sand improved to 5-0 on the season with a dominating complete-game, six strikeout performance against Lakewood.
The game remained scoreless through three innings before Archbishop Murphy bats came alive for six runs in the fourth against Lakewood starter Kamerin Furseth.
Wildcat slugger JT Burtsche led the offense with a double and two RBI, while Cameron Nix finished the day 3-3 with an RBI. Six different batters picked up an RBI in the onslaught as the Wildcats extended their win streak to 10 games.
