EDMONDS — Joey Rees batted 3-for-3 with two doubles, an RBI and a run scored to pace Edmonds-Woodway to a victory over Monroe in a 4A District 1 consolation semi-final game. Hunter Bingham finished 2-for-4 with a double to lead the Bearcats in the loss. With the win the Warriors move on to face Snohomish in the third-place game, Thursday at 4 p.m. at Everett Memorial Stadium.
