EDMONDS — Tate Budnick threw a complete game with six strikeouts and also scored three runs to lead Edmonds-Woodway to a first-round win against Arlington in the 4A District 1 Tournament. Mac McLachlan batted 3-for-4 and Joey Rees and Garrison Krohn each had two RBI for the Warriors, who advance to play Lake Stevens in a winner-to-state game at Everett Memorial Stadium. The Eagles host Lynnwood in loser-out game. Both contests are scheduled for Monday at 4 p.m.
