Prep baseball: Lake Stevens 11, Arlington 4

LAKE STEVENS — Dylan LaVelle hit two home runs and senior Matt Sweeney added another to lift Lake Stevens to the Wesco North victory. LaVelle, a junior, finished 2-for-3 with four RBI and Sweeney was 3-for-4 with two RBI. Arlington starter Austin Taylor took a 4-3 lead into the fifth inning before the Vikings started to get to him, notching 10 hits in the inning and scoring five runs to surge to a 8-4 lead.
