LAKEWOOD— Lakewood’s Hunter Fritz pitched seven shutout innings, allowed just three hits and struck out five en route to the Cougars’ big win over Cascade Conference leader, Cedarcrest. Ethan Dearing led Lakewood in hitting going 2-for-3 with two RBI, Matt Seiber drove in two runs, and Tyson Carlos went 2-for-3 with an RBI and run scored.
Jake Jewell doubled for Cedarcrest in the loss.
