MARYSVILLE — Jake Johnson pitched a full seven innings, giving up two hits and a run while striking out five to lead Marysville Pilchuck to a 3-1 victory over Cascade in the first round of the 4A District 1 baseball tournament.
KJ Brady also pitched a complete game, giving up nine singles. Marysville Pilchuck strung together enough of those singles to put up three runs, and that was good enough to get Johnson the win.
