Prep baseball: Mount Vernon 7, Shorewood 0

MOUNT VERNON — Mount Vernon remained unbeaten with a win over Shorewood in a 3A District 1 tournament semifinal game. The Bulldogs advance to play Mountlake Terrace in the title game on Saturday at 2 p.m. at Everett Memorial Stadium. Shorewood plays Ferndale in a loser-out game on Wednesday at 4 p.m.
