MONROE — Oak Harbor did just enough to defeat Monroe in a non-conference game Friday, edging the Bearcats by one run in a wild ninth inning. The Wildcats scored three runs in the top of the ninth inning, then slammed the door on Monroe’s effort for a walk-off victory, with reliever Kevin Johnson getting the final two outs with the bases loaded to end the Bearcats’ comeback bid.
