MARYSVILLE — Oak Harbor slugger Brent Mertins had a big day at the plate, going 3-for-4 with two doubles, a triple and an RBI as the Wildcats picked up a Wesco 3A North win Tuesday night over Marysville Getchell.
Teammate Tyler Snavely added a double of his own on a 2-for-3 night at the plate. It is the third game in a row the Wildcats have scored eight runs, and they have won seven of their last eight overall.
