Offensively, Arlington (3-1, 1-0) scored all three of their runs in the third inning as Billy Kooy (1-for-2) hit a double to bring in two of those scores. It was a rough day from the plate for the Grizzlies (1-3, 0-1), who went 3-for-24 as a team.

Shorecrest 7, Archbishop Murphy 1
SHORELINE — The Scots (2-1, 1-0) pitched a combined no-hitter after scoring seven first-inning runs to defeat the Wildcats (3-3, 0-1). But for a score on a groundout in the fifth inning, Shorecrest’s pitching lineup of Hudson Ekstrom (five Ks), David Telling and Kaden Hamshaw stifled Archbishop Murphy. Clark Mijares scored the lone run for the Wildcats.
Mountlake Terrace 12, Lynnwood 2 (6)
LYNNWOOD — The Hawks (1-3, 1-0) took down the Royals (0-4, 0-1) thanks in part to a sixth-inning flurry of seven runs. McCoy LaBlanc’s offensive outburst helped power the late push, as he finished 3-for-3 from the plate, scored two runs and stole two bases. Nolan Valdivia (2-for-2) also scored two runs while pitcher Owen Meek (seven Ks) earned the win for the Mountlake Terrace. Sergio Navarro (1-for-3) and Mathias Castillo (0-for-1) each scored a run for the Royals.
Edmonds-Woodway 10, Meadowdale 0 (5)
LYNNWOOD — Andreas Simonsen (2-for-4) led a consistent Warriors (3-1, 1-0) offense with a three-RBI performance. Lukas Wanke had a solid day for Edmonds-Woodway on both sides, striking out five hitters while scoring two runs himself. Andre Titus’ performance was a bright spot on Meadowdale’s offense, as he went 2-for-3 on a 4-for-19 team day as the Mavericks fell to 1-3 overall and 0-1 in conference play.
Wesco North 3A/2A
Snohomish 9, Monroe 5
MONROE — Landon Klein and Chase Clark each went 2-for-3 and scored two runs for the Panthers (3-1, 1-0), who led 9-0 in the sixth inning. Snohomish pitcher Luke Davis (seven Ks) would exit the game after the fifth inning. The Bearcats (1-3, 0-1) tried for a miraculous comeback, posting five seventh-inning runs before finally going down 11 hitters into the final frame. AJ Welch (2-for-3) led the Bearcats offense with two RBI on a day he also started on the mound.
Stanwood 7, Marysville Pilchuck 0
MARYSVILLE — The Spartans (4-0, 1-0) cruised to their first conference win of the season with a shutout win over the Tomahawks (0-4, 0-1). Stanwood pitcher Gavin Gehrman earned the win with seven strikeouts and two hits allowed in four innings pitched while TJ McQuery (3-for-5) led the way on offense with two RBI. Marysville Pilchuck reliever Jacob Skawecki finished the game strong, striking out four hitters and allowing no runs over the final three frames.
Non-league
Lake Stevens 3, Burlington-Edison 2
LAKE STEVENS — Lake Stevens pitcher Blake Moser relieved Luke Morris (10 Ks, W) in the seventh inning with a tying run at first. He would strike out both of the final two hitters to push the Vikings out of a jam and onto 3-1 on the season. Moser also got it done on offense, scoring a team-high two runs on 1-for-1 batting.
King’s 6, Seattle Prep 4
SHORELINE — Jakob Fowler’s first-inning two-run homer set the tone for a 9-for-26 Knights batting day. Luke Echelbarger went 3-for-3 himself in a two-run day. Pitcher Titan Root claimed the win for King’s (4-1) with two hits allowed to five strikeouts in five innings.
Marysville Getchell 7, Sedro-Woolley 1
MARYSVILLE — The Chargers (1-3) earned their first win of the season with a balanced team showing. Pitcher Cooper Agen earned the win with five hits allowed to 11 Ks. Caleb Johnson (two RBI) and Peyton Wallace (one RBI) each went 2-for-4 to pace Marysville Getchell’s batting.
Ballard 5, Shorewood 3
SHORELINE — The Stormrays’ comeback effort came up short as Ballard’s 4-0 fourth-inning lead proved too much to overcome. Joey Facilla (1-for-4) led Shorewood’s offense with three RBI as the Stormrays dropped to 3-2.
