LANGLEY — Granite Falls’ Mitch Byron had his only hit, a two-run home run, in the first inning, allowing Granite Falls to grab an early lead in the Cascade Conference game. Behind 9-8 entering the bottom of the fourth inning, South Whidbey rallied for eight runs, helped along by walks and errors. Six of the eight runs in the inning were unearned. South Whidbey’s Austin Bennett went 2-for-2 with two RBI and Cam Wildes hit 2-for-4 with an RBI.
